3/5/2021 6:09:38 PM

In Animal Crossing New Horizons, the train station was removed. Fortunately, the infinite creativity of the game allows us to bring it back to the island. In many island designs, such as city, industrial and even cottagecore-style towns, a railway station can make the island design more perfect. In today's guide, we will teach you how to build your own train station.

ACNH Train Station

Follow the blow tips to build a perfect railway and train station in Animal Crossing New Horizons:

1. The Track

The first step is to obtain railway tracks. Many variations are available including turns. Also, make use of dirt paths underneath the tracks to bring out the details and add realism.

2. The Station

Make your villagers comfortable while waiting for the train and provide them with a seat. The reading-hall bench (lecture-hall beach, garden bench, iron garden beach etc.) is perfect for this and blends in perfectly, but there are other options too.

3. Tunnel Time

To make a awesome tunnel design at the end of your track simply customise two black simple panels using a custom design that is all black. Then put the panel behind a stone arch.

4. Decorations

To decorate your station and make it feel more lived-in choose items that you would usually find there such as a briefcase, tickets or gas pump. Some other item ideas such as utility pole, iron frame, park clock etc are also can be placed to make your station more realistic. Extra tip,use the custom design on a simple panel to make a train map/schedule board.

5. Abandoned

If the theme of your island is spooky or you want to prepare your decor for Halloween, transform your station into an abandoned and rundown station with these extra tips.

6. Overgrown & Unsafe

Use wee3ds, bushes and leaf piles and place them between the tracks for the overgrown look. Also, customise a wooden shop sign to warn your villagers of the unsafe area.

7. Worn-down

Use some worn-down train tracks to make it look like they have been there for a while. Also scattering some rock paths and bricks on the floor helps to sell this effect even more.

8. Nighttime

Make sure the train station is illuminated at night. Add garden lamps or streetlamps for your newly built station and for your abandoned station use minimal amounts of artificial light.

Hope these tips will help you build the train station of your dreams, before you starting, make sure to prepare some related custom designs and ACNH items.
