Path Of Exile 3.7 Monolith Farming Tips/Guide - Best Builds For Monolith Farming In POE Legion

Farming 5 army legion encounters is one of the most profitable things you can do in Path of Exile. The problem with this is the barrier for entry is so high, then unless you have a friend playing support a god to your speed clearing bill, that also deals millions of Schafer DPS and a headhunter, you're probably not going to clear these as efficiently as you need to make significant profit and that's where we come in for all the people running 5 army encounters, there needs to be people to farm splinters to generate emblems to produce more and more of these encounters for the people who want to farm them and that's where the new stat monoliths per hour has come from. It's the idea of loading into a map like glacier dunes rushing over to the monolith clearing every single shell and then clearing every single mob as quickly as possible, maybe getting a map back and then porting out and doing it again 100 times an hour. This guide will bring some of the best Path of Exile builds that are very useful for monolith farming which is the purpose of today's article. And the POE builds that we’ll be presenting are basically tier 1 or 2.

POE Frost Blades Build 3.7

> Hardcore viable

> Cheap to start

> Great clear speed

> Active playstyle, fun to play

< Dies to Elemental Reflect

< Needs good investment in order to achieve great single target damage

Frost blades is a skill where you just sort of attack once and then it shoots a bunch of blades out of the back of the enemy, and if you just touch of anguish that causes all of those blades to chain if you're at maximum frenzied charges, because of how tightly clustered all the legion monolith mobs are all you have to do is do that once or twice and you'll be clearing just massive like eights and quarters of the section just per attack. It's really satisfying, it's pretty cool and fun if you like frost blades. And most importantly it's different, it's basically a melee skill which is cool because there's not a lot of melee skills, they clear these monoliths super well, it's pure cold, it's got good ped, it's just a little bit different. You can also play it as a Raider if you like getting 200% movement speed from an ascendancy. The only thing that's a little dicey about this build is if you're using touch of anguish, your damage is not gonna scale ultra high. So you're probably gonna be stuck on those yellow and white Maps which you probably should be farming. But the way you're doing is you just sort of walk around the middle of the circle of the mana lines and you just attack left and right. If you're moving fast enough, it shouldn't be too difficult a little bit of practice. So if you like frost blades, if you like melee, this is definitely the league to do.

POE Tornado Shot Deadeye Build

> Phenomenal clear speed, arguably one of the fastest in-game — clears multiple “screens” with a single ability

> Generates stacks of currency and Divination cards

> Functions on a moderate budget but has plenty of investments you can make to outfit the build with

> Long ranged build and very safe, particularly in the hands of seasoned players

< Lackluster boss killer (even with best gear possible)

< Magic Find variant is squishy in high tier maps

< Can be extraordinarily expensive

Tornado shot has been a powerful skill and has always been very clear speed oriented which means it jives extremely well with how you need to break out monsters in the legion monolith encounters in the background. I highly recommend Deadeye because you get tailwind for ultra-fast movement speed and you get plus one chain would let you get these crazy clears without having to run chain support. Another thing about tornado shot is as a lot of people instantly sort of associated with Magic Flight, you don't actually need to run magic find, so if you want to just equip your best clear speed damage boom at speed type gear and just run through these monoliths as quickly as possible. There's no reason to turn around invest in magic unless you really want to do that or you're engaging in party play the downside to tornado shot. It is one of the more expensive builds to get started compared to some of the other ones on this list. To really get a good feeling tornado shot character, you're gonna need a dying Sun, you're gonna need a queen of the forest to move fast, you're gonna need a decent bow to deal some damage and you're gonna need that tornado shot helmet chant which is several exalts even if you're getting the absolute worst bass possible that being said once you do get that investment rolling, tornado shot is probably the very best low tier Legion model if farmer in the game it just costs a little more to get started. So if you like bow builds, if you like going fast, if you like playing the game as efficiently as possible check out Tornado Shot Deadeye.

POE Essence Drain Contagion

> Hardcore viable

> Cheap to start

> Good balance between clear speed, single target, and defense

< Using two skills instead of one in order to clear can feel clunky to some people

Click HERE to find the complete guide for this build

The next build we have for you today is good old essence drain contagion. All you need to do is invest a little bit in your damage by getting a level 21 gem and then invest a little bit in your AoE by running contagion increased area of effect intensified and then using something like a seals amplifier or a carcass Jack, put all this together and you have a relatively low investment Legion farmer that can clear the encounters very consistently and easily without too much mechanical skill required. The main drawback of this build is it doesn't scale quite as well as some of the other builds on this list. If you're just running glaciers, you will absolute not notice any problems at all, but if you do decide to move up and farm some read maps to your 16 maps, you're gonna need to invest in a socketed gemsto and that's going to make things a little bit more expensive compared to some of the other builds.

Vaal Ice Nova Build

> Incredible damage output

> Solid and well-rounded defenses

> Extremely fast clear speed

> High movement speed

> Extremely fast kill times

> Melts all types of content; Bosses, Mapping, Delving, Labyrinth

Click HERE to find the complete guide for this build

Then we have evolved skill and that's of all ice Nova. The strong thing about Vall ice Nova is it is actually relatively versatile, you can play it as a cast on frost bolt mathil style ice Nova character, you can try to play it as a cast on create a SAS and character, you can even stick it into a random six link. If you have a free six link after using a staff or bow build. Another upside of this build is that it actually scales relatively well. It has a good base crit, it has nice added damage effectiveness and you can just dump some currency into this build and it will perform just as well in tier 16 maps as of wooden Tier one Maps. Another good aspect of this skill is its extremely flexible in your ascendancy choice, so if you want to play an Inquisitor, you want to play a trickster, you want to play an assassin, you want to play a scion, you want to play an elementalist for some reason, you can really make it work. All you really need to do is just get ice Nova, crit, some added cold damage and band, you're gonna be doing a ton of damage and you're gonna be clearing the white Maps yellow maps and eventually red maps with a little investment. The one downside of this build is to play ice Nova, it is a cast on crit cyclone assassin and the way the damage scales is you're not going to get quite enough damage to full clear those monoliths. As you get into the higher tier Maps you can still clear them.

Fireball Build

> Cheap to start

> Hardcore viable

> Good endgame potential

< Does not have great life sustain

Click HERE to find the complete guide for this build

If you've never played fireball, I highly recommend this skill. It does require a little bit to get going and by that mean not so much currency invested but gem levels supports sendin see choices things like Snakepit things like fork support, just these like little things that you have to drop into your bill to really take them from feeling like a horrible sort of vanilla like leveling through act to and experience up to this crazy endgame mapping thing. Basically fireball is a skill that you want to play with Deadeye, you get plus one chain, you get an extra projectile, you use die and you use GMP and then you're clicking like once and then the massive a OES from the rolling flame threshold jewels will be doing tons of damage and nobody should be blowing up.

Magma Orb Gloomfang Trickster Build

> Terrific mobility and clear speed

> Decent damage mitigation with 5,000 Life and Mind over Matter

> All content viable

Click HERE to find the complete guide for this build

Then we have magma orb gloomfang trickster build. Magma orb combined with Gloomfang is one of the highest DPS Spells in Path of Exile. Gloomfang Amulet grants added Chaos Damage every time your skill has chained, and it can sum up to 120% additional Chaos Damage on the 6th chain if you manage to get all the recommended gear. The damage this build offers is simply absurd, and the only downside to it is learning Magma Balls logic and how the fun part usually happens off-screen. With the upgraded Trickster Ascendancy this build gained insane swiftness and some additional defensive utility. We have also decided to utilize Mind over Matter and Eldritch Battery Passives, which combined with Energy Shield Leech, allow you to reserve up to 100% Mana, remove the issues with spamming Magma Balls, and grant extra defenses. The coolest part of both of fireball and magma builds is I think their speed levels are actually very high compared to some of the other builds.

GoogleAdv

Both of these builds perform excellently because they have super high damage added effectiveness.
