1. Righteous Fire Inquisitor

> Safe and simple

> Cheap to start

< Not really a boss-killer build, but it doesn't mean you won't be able to kill all the bosses in the game

< Low chaos resistance

This is just by far one of the most consistent build for league starters. There were a few things that we got out of last league that obviously changed the game being the new x-act and the other crafting methods to get implicit crafts. From last league, what we also learnt is as soon as you can get legacy of fury which drops from maven, then that significantly increases your ability to destroy everything around you similar to having like an explody chest except a really cheap version of that using scorch as the damage proc. This particular build was super tanky, the only boss that it even remotely struggled with was maven at the end and that's mainly because of the djinn sort of components, but it did work to take down everything in the game and face tank everything in the game and face tank maps and everything is going to be really good with the uber bosses this time around. It does use replica at series 4 replica series foible which will take you a couple of days to get in league start and you just get that from heisting same with replica soul tether, they will be expensive items the very start, but this is a max chaos, resist build as well.

2. Vortex Occultist

> Insane Defenses thanks to possibly over 10k Energy Shield and tons of armour

> Shaper/Uber Elder viable can clear all content in the game

> Good clear speed

> Cold DoT builds are great League Starters (if adjusted correctly)

< Vortex is cast under your feet, so it's more of a Melee range skill

< Requires specific Unique Items to be played as "Low-Life"

You map your vortex or your cold dot vortex to move button and you'll move around and basically drop that all over the map, that'll slowly eat away at enemies and then they'll die, you will never die because this build is so tanky that it just simply can borderline not die. That's pretty much a rinse and repeat scenario, you go sit next to the boss, whack them with some cold diet, watch them burn down and then move on. This build has been consistent every single league for the last leagues, it's super tanky and it's incredibly friendly for newer players. If you're somebody who's been struggling to clear the end game just because you've tried a whole heap of different builds and they just didn't work, then definitely pick up this build, it's a little slower in killing things but it'll take your woes away.

3. Lightning Strike Raider

> Great clear speed

> Amazing burst damage

> Tanky

> Very fast movement Speed

> Good linear progression and can be min-maxed to good levels

> Quick to maps (5 hours is easily achievable at League Start)

> SSF Viable

< Closed in maps and terrain are annoying

< Need to level with a different skill

< Takes time to master positioning to maximise damage

< Getting popular so gear can be expensive

< Requires specific Unique Items to be played as "Low-Life"

This build in particular constituted of 8% of all builds or all radar builds in there, it was all builds in the 3.7 league for the end of the first week that it was one of the most played builds in the league and maintained consistently throughout. So it's actually the lightning strike raider and and generally the reason for this particular build being so popular is for a number of reasons, so last league evasion got a huge fixed the way that grace works as well of asian as evasion and they removed the dodge mechanic in the game fundamentally, which basically meant that you could run full of asian characters and they're relatively safe even with a relatively small life pool and in this case this build gets to about 5000 life by the time you finish decking it out.

Raider is going to be one of the best ways to play this build and 8% of the players that played it last league by the end of the first league would agree with you on that notion. We recommend fuzzy duckzy, the damage rate gets to about 2 point nearly 2.5 million dps per projectile that being said that's also accounting for a better gear at the end of the first week. It's incredibly powerful and it's pretty easy to see why people play this build consistently even this one gets to 793 crit multiplier at not nearly 95 effective crit. So it's very powerful, very easy to gear in that first week. It's going to get you into those endgame starting scenarios and progression through your map very quickly. It’s very suitable for league starters for 3.18.

4. Poisonous Concoction Pathfinder

> Very tanky thanks to powerful synergies between Items and Passives

> High sustainable DPS with strong AoE

> All content viable

> Non-meta playstyle

> Can do most Map mods

< Requires a number of specific Items and Uniques to maintain the defensive capabilities of this build

This build has faster mapping at an early game level, from boss perspective, you can scale it up but it's real advantages in the early game and uh in particular 8% of players from last league by the end of the first week were running this build and that's also with an intention to eventually respect into something a little more powerful in the endgame. It is one of the best early map clear builds in the entire game and fundamentally that's the full run through and budget, very variation of the build that osmodius put together from a leak start scenario, very easy to gear, very easy to get started and as far as the defensive layering, it has quite defensive layering getting to about a 73.9 000 hit pull very early up in the game or by the end of the time you get to end game mapping. So it doesn't feel bad when you get to that end point and you start progressing forwards, max resist, it does over hits chaos resistance as well and that can all be balanced and from a couple of patches ago, poison concoction is just a really good build on league. Poison has been a very good build to play from a dot perspective and this is no exception to that rule as well if you want something really cheap and easy to learn some new mechanics with, then poison concoction is definitely one of the builds worth looking at in 3.18.

5. Skeleton Mage Necromancer

> Starter Friendly

> Good Clear Speed

> Powerful Skeletons opposed to Melee Skeletons

> Great Boss Killer

> Easy Leveling

> Budget-Friendly

> Easy Mapping

< Some may find the gameplay boring

< The end game can be expensive if you want to scale more

< Bad Positioning can punish you severely

It’s basically what carrying golems used to be every league, but basically you'll use the dead reckoning gem to convert all your minions into all your skeletons and scully mages, and then you cast them as you run around maps and you use the flesh crafter to have them essentially ignore monster elemental resistances. This build can get extremely extremely powerful, the uni tolls amulet which a lot of builds that get to that true end game used to push past that damage barrier that it does eventually hit up against, but this build has no issues with eviscerating everything in the game early up as far as from a necromancer standpoint goes. t's too much of an easy mode build, but for anyone who's gonna get started with the necromancer, this is definitely one of the builds to check out. It does use things like the lion's eye remorse which is a big chunky shield, gets about one million effective hit pool, but it's never quite that the pov is never quite exactly bang on in that respect. That's still very bloody powerful. The overall items on this build, flash crafters are usually like 30 to 50 chaos in the first couple days, and that's mainly because skelly mages has a really popular build but outside of that the dead reckoning gems gonna be the target gem that you're really gonna want early on, that does drop relatively frequently.
