A Medleyfaire Maestro has deemed it time to party away from your troubles in the middle of Aeternum's tragedy and mayhem! We've already seen the beginnings of summer settlements. Mount-A-Catch stations have been installed in every community so that you may display your best captures in your own house! This event is themed to be a big party that is held to bloster the waning morale of the violent torn population of Aesternum. You will find summer villages Brightwood, Everfall, Weaver’s Fen, and Monarch’s Bluff. Summer Medleyfaire is the best New World July PTR event your must try out!

When this summer festival goes live, you're going to want to come to Brightwood, Everfall, Weaver’s Fen and Monarch’s Bluff.

New World Summer Medleyfaire Event Tasks

All you will be doing during this New World July Summer Medleyfaire event is fishing. You will be trying to catch special event-themed fish that you will turn in to the Mestro. An event-themed npc much like the winter wonder as your reputation increases so does your reward available.

New World Summer Medleyfaire Event Rewards

As you progress in your adventures, you'll have the opportunity to earn unique holiday rewards like the coveted Aesternum Sturgeon with Maudlinbugs. On top of that, you will be able to have your special catches mounted at the mounted catch station for special home decor. Also, the hidden stashes will be gone during this event and you will get New World gold and diamond gypsum that is in these hidden stashes instead of the town centerpieces. You can gather 3 times per day for the duration of the event in this New World July PTR.

How To Participate In Medleyfaire Festival Event & Tips

Head over to the map, and pay attention to a symbol that looks like the sun in Brightwood, Everfall, Weaver’s Fen, and Monarch’s Bluff. Keep in mind that you can actually just fast travel directly to it, you don't have to fast travel near it and then bunter it, you can go directly to the point. Then you will talk to the Maestro who's the new NPC of the New World Summer Medleyfaire event. He'll give you a quest and basically that first question, you'll run around and you'll root all 5 of the instruments. The music involved in this quest and this summer fur is sort of separate from the music long-term. Like that music as a trade skill is going to stay, but this is just the way of its introduction. So even when this goes away, you'll still be able to do the music. But it's just a good way of maybe getting started because you'll pick up some instruments.

Musical instruments are a rhythm action-based trait skill coming to a tournament that will make the world a stage. There are 5 instruments for players to pick up and learn, plus an initial 31 songs to collect and master. You can play solo or as a group with up to 5 adventures. These musical instruments will include guitar, mandolin, upright bass, drums, and the azoth flute. You will gather songs by salvaging pages that will be hidden throughout the map and as an added bonus, there will be during a summer event a set of special pages available upon completing the event's main quest chain.

 The instruments will be crafted using the tradeskill furnishing. So if you've ignored leveling your furniture skill be sure to do so during the 1.25 event on the live servers during the last week of the XP extravaganza event. What you will do is press the f5 key by default to initiate performing. Much like f3 initiates fishing, each song will reward players with a tradeskill experience and various buffs. The better your skill performing, the more powerful the buffs provided and that's not all. The spectators of your performance will also receive a buff and can toss a coin to the performer as a tip. 

The buffs that you can receive are as follows: 

Decidedly dexterous: This will increase your gathering speed by 75% for 30 to 90 minutes. Territorial Triumph: This will increase your territory standing bonus increases by 10 to 30% for 30 to 90 minutes. 

All Together Now: This will improve your group character XP sharing bonus by 4% to 15% for 30 to 90 minutes depending on your musical trade skill.

Song In Your Step: Reduces player encumbrance by 200 to 1000 for 30 to 90 minutes. 

Fortune's Favor: This will increase your gathering yield by 3% to 10% for 30 to 90 minutes. 

Luck’s Labor: This will increase your gathering luck by 2% to 5% for 30 to 90 minutes.
