This guide is about the hitboxes on the Breakout and the Breakout Type S in Rocket League sideswipe. We’ll show you exactly what the hitboxes look like on both cars and how they compare to all the other cars in the game. If you want to use or already do use either of these cars, you'll definitely want to check this guide.

Breakout & Type S Hitboxes In Rocket League Sideswipe

Here's what the hitbox looks like on the breakout.

Here's what it looks like on the breakout type s.

Both of these cars are exactly the same shape with almost no noticeable difference at all. Both fit inside the hitbox identically and therefore in this guide we are going to focus on the breakout.

Starting with the top of the hitbox, you'll notice that the top of the car sits really far inside the hitbox which means that when dribbling the ball basically floats on top of your roof, very similar to the way that it does with the dominus.

Octane for comparison

In comparison to all the other hitboxes in the game, it's almost identical to the Dominus and the Diestro and maybe slightly better than the Werewolf which is the worst in the game in this area. The front and back are also not great with this whole area sitting outside the hitbox. In game, the front is noticeable when air dribbling with the front of the car clipping through the ball and both the front and the bag can be a problem when doing no flip or manual flick shots, where it's possible to totally whiff even though you actually hit the ball.

However, the front and the back are both actually not too bad, being extremely similar to the other long cars in the game like the Diestro, Werewolf and Dominus. In terms of hitbox, the breakout is basically dumbness. As you can see they're pretty much identical and therefore just them the same score, so the overall score for the hitbox on the breakout and the breakout type s is 5 out of 10.

Tips:

Both of them are totally usable, the chances of coming across any issues related to the hitbox are really small since the problem areas are not really that big. Unlike the Diestro which is absolutely horrible at the back and therefore the risk of missing a no-flip shot is actually relatively high. So if you love the look of the cars or you really like the sound of the engine, then go for it, it's probably not gonna cause any issues.
