The Killipop is one of the most impressive moves in sideswipe, allowing you to take the ball from on top of your car and launch a lightning-fast aerial attack on your opponent's goal. However, there is a more powerful version of this move that uses a mechanic that almost nobody knows about and today we are going to teach it to you. This tutorial is about 3 best Rocket League Sideswipe shooting mechanics, including the purple flick, the killipop and the ariel gold shot (Mogzipop lol).

Top 3 Shooting Mechanics In Rocket League Sideswipe - How To Do Gold Shot, Purple Flick, & Killipop

Learn how to do the purple flick, the killipop, the aerial gold shot, as well as the follow-through gold shot on Rocket League sideswipe.

1. The Purple Flick

The purple flick is a really great move that everyone from about platinum rank should definitely have in their game. It's basically where you take the ball from on top of your car and instead of doing a normal flick, you purple shot the ball up in the air like this.

There are two different ways to do this for both controller and touch screen:

- The first way to do it is to get the ball on top of your car, then hold down your arrow button, jump and as soon as your wheels are facing up, let go of your joystick and jump again. So basically, jump air roll and then purple shots.

- The second way to do it is to use the half arrow button which on touch is the hidden arrow button and on controller is the LT or L2 button. So you jump press the half arrow button and then purple shot.

The purple flick is a move you can use in a bunch of different situations. One of the best situations is when the ball is underneath your opponent's goal, then you can use the purple flick to shoot it straight into their goal. However, you also use it to do the killipop.

2. The Killipop

The killipop is a ball carry plus weak jump plus half aero, plus quick jump, plus fast aerial. However, we can summarize all of that by saying the kilipop is a purple flick followed by a fast aerial, this move is basically a surprise attack, you go from quietly dribbling the ball to blasting the ball up into the air and then quickly following with an aerial play. It's really dangerous if you do it right and it's one of the most impressive ways to score inside swine. So the killipop is a really awesome way to use the purple flick to launch attacks on your opponents. It's effective because it's so fast.

3. The Aerial Gold Shot (Mogzipop)

There is something that's just as fast but more powerful, the aerial gold pop. Before we learn the aerial gold pop, we first need to learn something the follow-through gold shot.

Here's what a regular gold shot looks like:

You shoot the ball forwards and your car gets pushed backwards.

Here's the follow through gold shot:

You shoot the ball forwards and your car continues forwards with the ball. So it's like an offensive gold shot. So to do this, you just do a regular gold shot, touch the ball with the back of your car and then flip away from the ball. However, as soon as you flip immediately press forwards on your joystick as quickly as possible.

Here’s the aerial gold pop:

It's similar to the killipop, but it hits the ball quite a lot higher, it's more powerful. To do it, you first get the ball on top of your car, then do a neutral jump, so not hold in any direction. Then aim down towards the ground, do a follow-through gold shot, then immediately boost up towards the ball. So it's basically a follow-through gold shot from underneath the ball which then leads into an air dribble. The most important part of this is that when you do that first jump, you can't hold down straight away. If you do, you'll pop the ball up like this and miss your gold shot. So just let go of the joystick during that jump, then immediately press down and do your follow-through gold shot.

This move is really cool and unique, the only problem with it is that it doesn't leave you with any flip once you get up to the ball. So we can come up with a version that does actually keep your flip, it's exactly the same as the follow-through version, but you don't use the follow-through gold chart you just do a regular gold shot land and then fast aerial up to the ball.
