D2R Ladder Runeword Wisdom Pros and Cons - Best Build for Diablo 2 Resurrected 2.4 Wisdom
Based on the introduction of Ginger Gaming Mentor, we can get some key points on Wisdom and consider is it worth making and what build it could be used in Ladder.
There are very few D2R items that do not bow but give you a piercing effect, the Wisdom will be the second runeword in the game to incorporate the piercing target effect, and it will stack with that Razortail. Another notable attribute of Wisdom is the Cannot Be Frozen, this means you don't necessarily have to get a Raven Frost right away, which you might not be able to find. You could find a Pul rune before you find a Raven Frost, or find a Raven Frost before a Pul rune, whichever one you find first, you could make this helmet. A 20 bonus to attack rating is nice, it seems to focus around a character who is actually trying to hit things, such as a throwing Barbarian and an Amazon. We also have a 5% mana steal per hit, a 30 bonus damage, and a bonus to defense.
What D2R 2.4 builds can you use Wisdom for? This could literally fix your mana issues on a Bow Amazon literally, we also have 15 damage taken goes to mana, when you do get hit, your mana is going to go up even further, it is a super viable item for Bow Amazons and Throw Barbarians. Piercing attack kind of pushes this strongly toward a ranged character, so any characters that are using it utilizing a bow or throwing items would have a very good time using this, and it doesn't necessarily have to be a bow or a dagger, it could be a Javazon, so a Lightning Fury Amazon would get a lot of good use out of this early on at level 45. The plus five to mana after each kill, 5% mana steal per hit, and the 15 damage taken goes to mana, along with the extra piercing and the attack rating bonus are going to equal a large amount of extra mana for a Javazon tend to have an extremely hard time with mana.
When it comes to the shortcomings of Wisdom, the highest rune in this D2R Ladder item is the Pul rune, it is also the most expensive rune in this entire recipe. MrLlamaSC thinks it is not an endgame helmet, there are some better helmets that are more budget for the endgame. A lot of Pul runes get used a lot to upgrade items and that's one of the great uses of Pul runes, but apart from their massive use to upgrade items, Pul runes tend to be kind of those runes that sit in your stash until you need them, as you level up a character, you might have a little bit of an issue creating this because you'll have to find your first Pul rune. Is this the item that you want to use with your first Pul rune?
Overall, it's still a really good helmet for any character that is a melee arranged or if you are a character that has a lot of mana issues, this could be your go-to easy helmet to fix those problems. Even you're a Sorceress, you can make this as an easy helmet for plus five mana after each kill, the same thing for a Barbarian a Paladin, or a Druid. You could just pop it on when you have mana issues and then replace it later once you get your Raven Frost and once you've fixed your mana issues, you can use something else.
