ACNH February 2021 Updates & Changes - New Events, Items, Spring Details In Animal Crossing February
January might have been one of the duller months in the game but there's a lot more going on in February that you can get excited about, including some new events Festivale and Valentine’s Day, lots of new seasonal items to collect and also the snow finally disappearing from our frozen northern hemisphere islands, and much more changes & updates. Now let’s take a look at 6 exciting 2021 Animal Crossing New Horizons changes February has to offer, which new characters you can look forward to meeting, what limited-time items will be available, where you can purchase each of these items and which critters you can get excited to catch!
1. Festivale
Festivale is the main event happening in February which introduces Pave - the event's host, and a whole bunch of new items to collect. You'll be able to collect items related to this event from the 1st of February until the 15th. When the event actually occurs, this includes new furniture items from Nooks Cranny as well as a set of 4 new reactions from Nook's Cranny as well. You can also purchase new clothing items from Festivale. So make sure you head out there and go after limited-time items whilst they're available. The new Festivale set items looks really cool (which are now for sale on GOLDKK at cheap price) and you can get in a whole bunch of different colors too.
So, Festivale is all about collecting feathers for Pave using your net, he's bound to be thrilled to see you collect a bunch of different feathers for him and will give you some exclusive items in return for your hard work, so make sure to check this event out when it falls on the 15th.
2. Lunar New Year
It’s in line with Chinese New Year and mainly celebrated across different regions of Asia. To celebrate the Lunar New Year, the lucky red envelope and the Lunar New Year decoration will be available to purchase from the seasonal tab of the Nook Stop. These will be available for 1 week from February 10th through to February 17th, these items are said to bring good fortune. So be sure to check your alternate prices that week.
3. Snow Disappears In February
The snow will start to melt in northern hemisphere islands on the 24th of February. For those of you who are just so sick of the snow this is probably the most exciting change happening this February as Spring will finally be returning to the game and the grass will be green once more. The grass won't actually be green right away instead you'll have to enjoy this sort of faded brown kind of color for a little bit. With the snow disappearing, this also means you will no longer be able to catch snowflakes nor will you be able to create any snowmen. So make sure you do all of this and get all of those seasonal DIY recipes before the snow melts away and is gone until much later on this year.
4. New Seasonal Items
February brings a whole bunch of cool new Animal Crossing items that you can get via the Nook Shopping menu or can buy from ACNH items online store including the setsubun throwing beans which are a new type of holdable item which allows you to toss beans around your island, as well as the ogre costume for the event from the Able Sisters until February 3rd.
