It has been confirmed that the POE 3.8.0 expansion release date is set for the 6th of September, with Legion coming to an end on PC three days prior on the 3rd. Console players will be able to play Legion up until the release of the new League 3.8.0.

Upcoming Path Of Exile 3.8 Expansion - New Contents, Challenges, Improvements & Changes For POE 3.8 League

Our September POE expansion 3.8.0 follows the usual formula of Path of Exile releases, the game system will be changed, we can obtain more valuable rewards like new items, archetypes, gems. The content update will be accompanied by a new challenge league as well as new items, crafting methods, archetypes, skill gems, support gems, improvements to existing content, some QoL improvements and more.

- Improved master content (such as character-shared Sulphite and Betrayal (Immortal Syndicate) states).

- Single account-wide system with older League content. It has been confirmed that GGG will roll these features into a single account-wide system, meaning that any character on an account can pick up where the previous one left off. The Labyrinth and the Atlas of Worlds already use a similar system.

- Certain system improvements, which have been strongly suggested and desired by players (but not trading-related)

- The usual array of new POE items, archetypes, gems.
