one of the most detailed and versatile builds at the start. high protection from damage, a lot of health, mind above matter, high chance of block damage from blows and charms, great damage to minions both in aoe and in single targets, easy passing of all maps in extremely cheap equipment. damage to minions generally increases as you pump the skill stones and your access to the game content, and not from the cost of equipment. a well-balanced caster build for beginners and veterans alike that scales well into endgame, has great mapping consistency and can even be played selffound.
pros & cons
+ cheap & fully ssf-capable
+ smooth gameplay & progression
+ capable to do all content & mapmods
+ immune to all kinds of reflected damage
- requires good positioning, buff- and flask uptime
- not a facetanking build, physical damage hurts
- lightning has inconsistent damage output

this is a build that can clear all content (maps/shaper/lab/atziri/uber elder etc). it is fun and engaging, not cost an extraordinary amount of path of exile currency, and have the ability to be a league starter with the ability to do all content later on as you upgrade and invest into your character. on top of this it has fast movement or move skills and not have to worry about any weird issues that ruin builds for you (such as running out of mana, random one shots, not lacking in single target capability, etc etc.) in poe 3.7, the build is completely revamped. different passives, different items, crit based now, uses eternity shroud and much much more. make sure to look at latest pob link and info as the gear section will be out of date.
pros & cons
+ very fast pace build
+ incredibly fast movement speed with phase run + quicksilver
+ flame dash with faster casting to jump gaps/cliffs
+ one of the best aoe clears in the game hands down
+ able to do strong burst single target damage which shreds map bosses
+ incredibly fun self crafting on tons of gear pieces
+ can do almost all map mods
+ able to do all content (all maps, uber atziri, all labs, shaper and guardians, uber elder)
+ extremely high defensive capabilities
+ immune to corrupting blood
+ warlord's mark on hit
+ aspect of the spider makes monsters covered in webs which looks sweet
+ free arcane surge + inpulsa explosion effect
+ easy/cheap to gear with room for lots of improvements as you get more currency
- ele reflect maps are not possible
- physical reflect maps are best to be avoided
- hexproff and no regen on same map should be avoided.
- can be slightly laggy when you run into allies cannot die totem
- single target dps is hard to maintain for anything with multiple phases
- not the best uber elder farmer, though can still be done decently
- can be decently expensive to fully min/max yourself for end game gear

with the huge improvements of melee character and new melee skill, poe 3.7 melee builds will be very popular in the new league. the marauder is path of exile’s pure strength class, which implies that he’s terrific at taking hits, and in some circumstances superior at dishing out punishment. his melee skills encompass a wide range of assault, from enormous single target harm to devastating area of effect. sunder juggernaut is one of the most durable melee builds in path of exile. extremely high defense combined with high damage allows you to clear all the endgame content. this build is a solid league starter. it is able to progress into red maps and farm the uber (eternal) labyrinth on a tight budget and clear poe 3.7 legion altas maps fast. instead of atziri's disfavour you can use any two handed axe, but it is a big upgrade in terms of damage.
pros & cons
+ very high damage and high aoe
+ great defense from juggernaut ascendancy and endurance charges
+ best league starter with only 4-links you can farm most of the white maps with ease
+ scales very well into the endgame with investments into more expensive uniques
+ relaxing to play – high defense allows you to stop worrying about getting one-shotted
+ over 6000 life with just a little bit of investments
- slightly slower in clearing maps than pure range builds
- vulnerable to physical reflect mods maps
poe orb of storms can do a whole lot! even made a darkness fossil poe currency farmer, it might do all of the guardians and shaper/elder may take a bit kiting. you can commence making use of this gem from level (4) which we appreciate. just scale cast speed/crit chance early on. about level 18, it starts actually to pick up.
of storms has this little sentence in its description "using a lightning skill while inside the orb's cloud unleashes extra bolts." so what this signifies is the fact that any time you cast a lightning spell, you grant extra procs of oos. so right after some testing, so far leading 3 are lightning tendrils/tempest shield/divine ire.
pros & cons
+ fast leveling
+ cheap start
+ start the build early
+ safe clear speed/boss farming
+ scales crazy with cast speed
+ kills shaper/guardians (might take a little time ha)
+ easy delve/fossil farming
- totems are a pain (lightning tendrils vs tempest shield)
- cant face tank
- minions cant die is very sketchy.

this is a strong all-around build. cyclone is a skill that hits multiple times in a short period of time, this is why high damage item bases are great for the skill. with the juggernaut’s extreme damage mitigation and molten strike molten strike‘s incredible single-target damage potential, the molten strike juggernaut can become stunningly powerful if properly equipped. use this build in lower levels recommended to get three jewels out of five and reduce some armour in the passive tree but keep in mind to cap the physical damage reduction.
pros & cons
+ fun
+ tanky, high regen
+ dps can be scaled well
+ breach destroyer
+ mechanically interesting
+ spicy meatballs!
- elemental reflect
- low to moderate mobility
- dexterity and intelligence requirements
- clunky cyclone
- fps drops
- limited gem sockets
- lower single target compared to other builds

this build is great for map clear with 400k+ dps from scorpion tail spike, 100k+ per mortar, 6 mortars that can shotgun; great for single target with 50k dps per spider x 20 spiders = 1 million dps. spiders and the scorpion deal all our damage and hardly need any investment! blade flurry, blade vortex and the spiders have 100% chance to poison. if a poison tick deals the killing blow, we are credited with the kill. this procs the arakaali's fang and instantly gives us 20 spiders very reliably. for bosses you can take a couple seconds to prep by casting desecrate then killing the mobs in the boss room to get 20 spiders. or use a worm flask as your life flask to be extra safe. get a little extra armour by self casting molten shell/vaal molten shell if you don't mind the extra button.
pros & cons
+ easy/fast leveling cause you never die.
+ can do any map mod - saves currency!
+ can face tank almost anything, if you dodge the very obvious stuff you never die.
- must get int and dex on gear, or spend passive points on the +30 nodes.
- not the fastest map clear, limited by minion move speed but well managed convocation can make it pretty fast.
- not good league starter, the shield and dagger will be expensive
- no regen maps are hard, but doable with mana flask and good life flask management.

this poe frost blades raider build utilizes a fast clear speed, high mobility, and high damage to clear all the available content. this isn't a tanky afk build. it requires a certain amount of skill in order to clear the hardest content. the damage on this build follows an exponential curve. dps with "bad" gear should be around 300-500k. improving on that isn't hard, but crossing the 1 million mark is the "hard" part. once you pass that mark however, every little damage point here and there starts scaling better and better. getting from 300k to 1000k is harder than getting from 1000k to 2000k.
pros & cons
+ fast clear speed
+ very good dps
+ constant onslaught and full frenzy charges
+ can do all content
+ really fun playstyle
+ high dodge and evade chance
- can't do elemental reflect maps
- could be tankier. (can facetank most content, but some things can be nasty)
- can get expensive

this version gives guardians / shaper a stable dps, an ancestor protector rise, a very high strike prospect and (95%+) productive crit chance (75%) and a great lifetime pool (6k +). with this path of exile legion build, blade flurry provides +20% more dmg for each stage, and +100% extra when you reach level 6, basically double your dps. there will be more at any time when you post the wave. so you have to study the correct instigation, by releasing the exact moment you see the green halo pop up, and then immediately start back to the first stage. because it depends on aps (attacks per second), you must be employed by it. it may take some time between 2 seconds and 0.5 seconds to reach the 6th stage. all of the blade flurry dpss indicated in this guide are for shaper / guardians and are calculated in phase 6, not release. this version has only one click, so we prefer to consider the dps you get in the max stage because you can keep its channel.
pros & cons
+ fast, versatile and fun build
+ boss killer
+ all content viable
+ high evasion thx to blind mechanism
- cannot do phys reflect maps
- clearspeed is nice but not super-fast. we are no winter-orb mf farmer.
- expensive for endgame

trickster received a very huge buff in 3.6, especially concerning it defensive part. in a few words : more evasion you stack, more es you instantly regen when you are hit ! in top of that, more evasion means more chance to evade but it can also be combined with a high dodge chances. orb of storms can do a lot! it can do all the guardians and shaper/elder, might take a little kiting but you can still kill all. you're able to start using this gem from level (4). just scale cast speed/crit chance early on. around level 18 it starts to really pick up.
pros & cons
+ fast leveling
+ cheap start
+ start the build early
+ safe clear speed/boss farming
+ scales crazy with cast speed
+ kills shaper/guardians (might take a little time ha)
+ easy delve/fossil farming
- totems are a pain (lightning tendrils vs tempest shield)
- cant facetank
- "minions cant die" is very sketchy.

this is also a basic strong all-around build, if you like the beefy melee brutes this is definitely the build for you. two-handed cyclone builds have been solid for long time. combining high single target damage with decent clear speed and reliable sustain makes the build very fun to play. slayer’s over leech and vaal pact is something that trivializes content when your damage and life pool are high enough. spinning around with your two-handed weapon and obliterating everything in your path feels very good.
pros & cons
+ fast melee build
+ tanky
+ slayer overleech
+ great uber lab farmer
+ no need to gem swap for bosses
- leech won't save you from oneshot/burst damage
- not a t1 clear speed build
- balancing resists for wise oak is painful
- expensive if you want to min-max
