the incursion league in path of exile allows you to influence the construction of the temple of atzoatl through time travel. there are over 70 different rooms available, each with their own different effects on the temple. in this guide we have listed all available rooms and their effects for you.


path of exile: the incursion rooms

each incursion allows you to decide on the layout of a temple room. depending on which master builder you kill in the past, either a new theme is missed or the existing room is reinforced. which rooms you can meet and which effects your expansion stages have, we have listed here for you. in doing so, we have summarized the basic space as well as the improvements up to level 3.

storage room

the storage room is a great source for items of all kinds. depending on your level of expansion you can find gems, divination cards, poe currency or even special path of exile items (for example perandus coins).

sparring room

each level of the sparring room increases the attacking power of the monsters in the temple. at the same time you receive weapons from containers.

- arena of valor: + 15% monster damage

- hall of champions: + 20% monster damage

use: even if an upgrade is worthwhile, this room should not be your top priority. since the drops are random and each stage has a drawback, you should weigh your decision carefully. at level 3, however, you can also get uniques as a reward.

 

armourer's workshop

each level of armourer's workshop enhances the defense of monsters in the temple. at the same time you receive armor from containers.

- armourer's workshop: + 10% monster defense

- armory: + 15% monster defense

- chamber of iron: + 20% monster defense

use: even if an upgrade is worthwhile, this room should not be your top priority. as with the sparring room, the drops are random and each stage of development also brings with it a disadvantage. at level 3, however, you can also get uniques as a reward.

 

jeweler's workshop

the jeweler's workshop will provide you with jewelry of all kinds. these may be pieces of equipment, but also jewels or divination cards.

use: of course, you should be clear about how well you can handle a breach and whether you want to take the risk. given enough killspeed and defense, you'll get a great source for items and breach slivers here.

 

sacrificial chamber

allow you to turn a unique item into a random other unique. at level 3 special uniques can be made, for which you need special splinters of the final boss.

use: the sacrifical chamber is an interesting and exciting space that is always worth a visit. especially if you have the splinters of the omnitectes and the associated uniques, you should expand the room as quickly as possible to level 3.

here you will receive poe gems and Vaal-gems, which always have a certain level of quality. the quality and quantity of the gems depends on the level of the room.

use: the room should be worth a visit for new characters. with more elapsed playing time, however, he loses more and more importance.

 

corruption chamber

each level of corruption chamber lowers your maximum resistance. if the room is upgraded to level 3, it is possible to spoil an item at the curruption altar. this can result in four different results:

- the item receives two corruption mods

- the item is upgraded to a special unique

- all sockets of the item become white

explosive room

depending on the level of expansion, you will receive 1, 2 or 3 explosives here. this makes it possible to break previously locked doors in the temple.

use: unfortunately, it is not always possible to open all doors to the final boss during incursions. the explosives room is a kind of joker and allows you to make your way anyway. however, more than level 1 is rarely needed.

 

royal meeting room

the royal meeting room increases the attack and spell speed of all monsters in the temple with each level. at level 3 it is possible to summon the final boss queen atziri.

- royal meeting room: 10% more attack and spell speed

- hall of lords: 15% more attack and spell speed

- throne of atziri: 20% more attack and spell speed

use: if you are looking for a real challenge or are looking for one of queen atziri's special uniques.

 

shrine of empowerment

each level of the shrine of empowerment increases the attack and spell speed of all monsters in the temple. if you manage to extend the space to level 3, the level of all adjoining rooms is increased by 1. this has no effect on rooms that are already level 3.

- shrine of empowerment: 10% more attack and magic speed

- sanctum of unity: 15% more attack and spell speed

- temple nexus: 20% more attack and magic speed

use: if you are fortunate enough to get the shrine of empowerment as a relatively central space, upgrading can be well worth it. the further the space moves to the edge of the map, the more it loses its effect.

 

poison garden

this room allows more plants to grow in the temple at each stage, creating poison clouds when touched. at level 3 you will find an item with a unique incursion mod.

application: should be improved if you want to craft items with special incursion mods.

 

trap workshop

creates traps in the temple. at level 3, get an item with a unique incursion mod.

application: like the posion garden, this room should only be improved if you are looking for an item to craft.

 

pools of restoration

heal all monsters in the temple. at level 3, provide an item with a unique incursion mod.

- sanctum of vitality: 6% healing

- sanctum of immortality: 8% healing

application: also, this room should only be improved if you are looking for a good crafting basis. since the healing effect is quite strong, the pools of restoration should be chosen with caution.

 

tempest generator

this room creates tempests in the temple. these colored hurricanes are biting both you and the enemies in it. these buffs can be about more damage or increased attack speed. also debuffs are possible.

application: a room that offers no real advantages or disadvantages. can be safely omitted.

 

guard house

each level of this room increases the group size of the monsters in the temple.

enhances the life of omnitects with each stage of development. at the same time, all monsters in the temple drop more loot.

reinforces the omnitect with fire. this is noticeable, for example, in the fact that it makes the fight with flame thrower effects more difficult. at the same time, you will receive an item at level 3.
