How to Invite A New Villager in Animal Crossing New Horizons?

5/11/2021 5:13:51 PM

As an animal crossing player, do you need to invite new villagers to your island? If you've already set aside some land on New Horizons' island for housing, now is the time to invite some New villagers.

If you want to exercise some control over who comes to your island, there are three ways to invite villagers to New Horizons Island that don't involve amiibo cards. This guide will take you to invite new villagers in the Animal crossing.

How to Invite A New Villager in Animal Crossing New Horizons

Inviting villagers from Mystery Islands

If you have a free piece of land on your island, a randomly selected villager will appear on any mysterious island you visit. They will continue to appear until the site is sold. If you don't have land to sell, then every mysterious island you visit will be uninhabited.

To travel to a mysterious island, you must first purchase a corner ticket, spend 2000 corner miles, from the corner steps residential service.Take this ticket to the airport and you will be taken to a randomly selected island, which will contain a villager if you have land for sale.

There's no guarantee which villager will visit the island, so if you're looking for a specific character, then we recommend you save a lot of Nook Miles. This will allow you to visit multiple mysterious islands in a row. You'll still get lucky, but, without amiibo cards, this is the easiest way to find your favorite villager without waiting.

If you like the villagers who live on the mysterious island, start talking to them. Ultimately, you can choose to encourage or discourage them from moving to your island. If you really don't want the villager to move into your home, then we recommend that you ignore them completely. If you do encourage them to move, then they will buy your land that is currently up for sale and will move to your island in the next few days.

The campsite

After upgrading the resident service, Tom Nook will ask you to set up a camp on the island. Once the camp is up and running, villagers will have the opportunity to visit the camp. Isabelle will let you know in her morning announcement if anyone is camping on your island, so you don't have to worry about losing visitors.

Talking to campers may lead you to play a game of chance with them, where you are rewarded with a new piece of furniture or clothing if you win. If you lose, there are no consequences, so please don't worry about that happening! At some point, campers may decide that they want to move to your island, and, depending on whether you have available land, two things will happen.

If you have land for sale, campers will buy the land and move in. If you don't, campers will call "resident services" only to find out that your island is full. Sorry, campers will ask you if you know any villagers who want to move - you can choose to answer "yes" or "no".

Selecting "Yes" will enable the camper to select one of your current villagers, and then you can agree whether the selected villagers will leave or not. You can't control which villagers the campers choose, so be prepared to let them choose one of your favorites.  If you do decide to evict the villagers in support of the campers, the animals will immediately start cleaning up their houses. The next day their houses will be empty and the campers will move to your island the next day.

If campers are not to your taste, rest assured that when your island is reset, they will no longer exist. This will also reset the camper's opportunity to visit your island, increasing from 0% on the first day after the camper leaves to 20% on the sixth day. It is also important to note that the chances of campers revisiting your island are low, as is the likelihood of former villagers visiting your campsite.

Inviting villagers from your friend's island

Finally, you can invite the villagers who live on your friend's island to move to your island. To do this, you must wait until you encourage the selected villager to leave a friend's island and get a free piece of land on your island. The day after your friend encouraged the villagers to leave, it's time for you to strike.

Visit your friend's island and then head to the homes of the villagers, where you'll find them packing up and packing their belongings into boxes.

Start chatting with villagers, and eventually, you can choose to encourage them to move to your island. If you do encourage villagers to come to your island, they will start moving the next day.

Remember - you need to sell a piece of land on the island, otherwise the villagers won't be able to move.

Using Amiibo cards

The Nook Stop station will also get an upgrade after the camp is set up on your island. You can now use it to scan both Amiibo and Amiibo cards into New Horizons. Although you can only do this once a day.

Using a villager's Amiibo card, such as Bob's, will allow the villager to visit your camp the next day and, if you wish, start the process of permanently moving him to your island. When campers arrive, they will ask you to make a specific piece of furniture for them. If you don't have an Animal Crossing DIY recipe for the furniture, they will give it to you. Now, all you have to do is make and give them that piece of furniture. You need to have the villagers visit your island on three separate occasions and repeat the process three times in total, each time using your Amiibo card to invite you. After you have done this, you will be able to successfully invite villagers to live on your island. If you have land available, they will be happy to move there. If you don't, now is the time to choose a tribute. Unlike regular campers, the villagers you invite through Amiibo will allow you to choose the villagers you wish to evict.

After making a decision, your new village will be transferred to your island within two days.
